Warm greetings from the Office of Vice-Postulation for the Cause of Ven. Fr. Agnelo.
I am very happy to know that you have taken a great interest in the process of Beatification of Venerable Fr. Agnelo. Earlier you have worked and prayed towards the canonization process of St. Joseph Vaz. Today he is declared a Saint by the Church.
The second son – Ven. Fr. Agnelo D’Souza – a son of the Goan soil is in line. I as a Vice-Postulator have been working hard towards this process. This Pastoral Year, (June 2016-May 2017) has been dedicated to pray in a special way for the Beatification, in the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman. What we need is a First class miracle to be approved by Rome.
We do get some good cases of cure. We study them with the help of doctors. Some doctors cooperate. They have to give in writing that the *cure is medically inexplainable*. On the other side, those who have prayed through Fr. Agnelo’s intercession have to testify in writing. Once this process is done, we send it to Rome. The doctors in Rome study the case. If they approve, then the process will go forward.
We need your support and your prayers. I am very happy that you are showing lot of interest. I am sure that with the efforts and prayers of all, we will get a miracle approved by Rome.
