O God of Love and Mercy, we earnestly pray for Healing and Recovery from the deadly Covid virus that is infecting vast numbers of people and taking millions of lives around the world today.

We pray for a cure from Covid and especially for victims and their families and for First Responders, through the Intercession of Saint Joseph Vaz, who cleaned and dressed the sores of the abandoned victims during the highly infectious smallpox epidemic in Kandy in 1696, nursed them and provided them with shelter and food when they were left to die in the jungles.

We pray to him, together with our Mother Mary, to intercede for us that we may regain our health and wellbeing and overcome this world crisis.

We ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
