We have just successfully celebrated our 39th Annual Feast Day Mass for St. Joseph Vaz, which we have been jointly offering also for the Beatification and Canonization of Ven. Fr. Agnelo, SFX and other native Indian and Sri Lankan Saints.
Please see our Report about our Jan. 29, 2017 Feast Mass on this website. We will post more news of the lives and achievements of our own native saints on our website this year.
This year, 2017, is a very Special year for native Indian and Sri Lankan saints and candidates for the sainthood.
The Sri Lankan Cardinal and Bishops have just declared this to be the “Year of St. Joseph Vaz.” They have laid the foundation stone for a St. Joseph Vaz National Shrine on land donated by the Sri Lankan government (http://m.ucanindia.in/news/sri-lanka-declares-2017-as-the-year-of-st-joseph-vaz-33889.html). We hope that our followers and readers will now join us in their campaign for Masses and Prayers for this special year.
We are also joining the Archdiocese of Goa and Pilar in the campaign of prayers they have requested for the approval of a miracle for the Beatification of Ven. Fr. Agnelo, SFX (see the Message from the Vice Postulator for the Cause of Ven. Fr. Agnelo to us on this website).
We invite you to pray for these intentions as well as for the progress of the Causes of other native Indian Saints. Please let us know if you will be offering a Mass or prayers for these intentions this year by emailing us at [email protected]
