Continuing the Annual Feast tradition for our own Native Saints
We’ve been offering our Annual Mass for the Feast of St. Joseph (Naik) Vaz, Apostle of Kanara and Sri Lanka, and for the Beatification of Ven. Fr. Agnelo in the San Francisco-Bay Area since 1978. We had scheduled the 2022 Mass before the current Covid variant had surfaced. Fortunately, St. Victor Catholic Church is continuing its present Mass schedule and we will hold our Annual Mass there on January 16, 2022.

Our 44th Annual Mass is being held at St. Victor Catholic Church in San Jose
We’ve been making new links in the diocese of San Jose as well as continuing working within the diocese of Oakland.
We co-sponsored a Mass at St. Lucy’s Church in Campbell, California, for the victims of the Easter 2019 bombings in Sri Lanka. We also participated in a program in 2021 about various Native Saints from among our ethnic communities in the diocese of San Jose. As many of our Indian-Sri Lankan Catholics live in the South Bay, we’re offering our Annual Mass for our own native Indian-Sri Lankan Saints in San Jose this year.
We’re planning a Mass with inter-religious participation at the African American parish of St. Columba Catholic Church in Oakland.

The Virtual Masses that we’re offering in Goa, Bangalore, and Colombo are:
• Goa, India: January 16, 2022 Mass, 4 p.m. IST offered at St. Michael’s Church, Orlim, Goa. Celebrant: Fr. Raju Godinho
• Bangalore, India: January 17, 2022, 6:30 a.m. IST at Loyola Mandir, Bangalore. Celebrant: Rev. Fr. Olvin Veigas, S.J.
• Colombo, Sri Lanka: January 16, 2022, 9:30 a.m. IST at St. Infant Prague Church, Colombo
